David Corn on how Trump's affection for Putin is driving him to side with Russia over Ukraine
All the comments regarding the reason for the Ukraine war - there was an agreement with the previous America president since 1990s that President Putin has warned that NATO bases and/missiles would not be allowed along the countries bordering Russia and allowed previous oversights in Poland and other old Soviet countries. But Ukraine was an exception as Ukraine has access to the Black Sea and also has a large population of Soviet speaking citizens. President Putin had to set an example to this continuous oversight.
Putin was trumps groomer , while in charge of the KGB , who also paid him to be a Russian agent in 1987. Trumps payment to Putin is to DESTROY AMERICA FROM WITHIN. TRUMP'S CODE NAME IS KRESNOV
Try to see the world from the Trumps perspective, he must do the diplomacy, with the leader that bombed the civilians just because american minister called him humanitarist. 😂 And he have no way to press Russia by the economic or military force, just because the civilians protest in every case. Our free world is going down because it is getting lack of common sense. If Trump will help Ukraine then the economists will atack him because of oil prices, in the same time he have to face the case in the middle east which also causing the oil economy struggles. Great times to be the president 😂 lots of problems but there is lack of solutions for them.
Donald also keeps disparaging Communism while at the same time hosting, Putin (former KGB), Xi, and singing the praises of Kim Jong-Un... all of whom are communists.!!
Why isn’t anyone in the USA investigating this Putin/trump/gop connection? That’s what I’d like to know. It’s so obvious there is some sort of back door deal going on between them. Why isn’t anyone investigating it?

If WE can see the connection, just imagine what the CIA, pentagon, and FBI can see behind the scenes.

If I was a congress member, I would have hired a private detective, to find out what the Putin/trump/gop blackmail is about
Putin has so much blackmail on trump AND republicans. This is why none of the gop will dare go against trump. Whatever they did, that they’re being blackmailed for, is VERY bad. So bad, they’re willing to throw away an entire country’s democracy, to continue covering up their crimes.

I really believe putin has been helping republicans gain seats in our elections, going back to the 80’s. I really do. I think the gop has been getting money from putin, laundering Russian money, for their elections.

They meet with putin, so he can update them on what to do next, how to stay in power so long, like putin.

Putin has taught the gop and trump, how to weaponize our free speech, and free press, against us, for their political purposes. He’s taught them how to weaponize all the loopholes in our system. He’s taught them plausible deniability.

I believe putin has helped the gop, and trump, tremendously, to spread their propaganda, using Putin’s online troll machine. And I believe they are sharing our classified information with putin, as part of the quid pro quo.

Those thugs KNOW they will go to prison, get charged with treason, and espionage, and the death penalty, if their crimes are exposed.
It’s a whole mind set that he and his supporters share. They like authoritarianism. I remember my Oder
Mexican Trump supporter. It was mind blowing but talking to them about it, it became clear that this was the reason: authoritarian leader.
Corn has no clue whatsoever about all of geopolitics. Or he is blatantly lying. People! Wise up! Do not ever take political theatre as anything else than theatre!
I said it before and I’ll say it again that Trump and Hegseth are both bi curious and constantly talk about men’s physiques in a way that excites them.🏳️🌈
No. Remember that he wanted Zelensky out in the open in a glass box? Remember impeachment 1? This isn't about what je wants. Donny has been an agent since the 80's
Trump's ties to Russia go back to the 1970's. There are numerous articles on Bylines and Politico detailing them. We are seeing an dismantling of the world order and the abandonment of decades old international agreements including the one to defend Ukraine if they gave up nuclear aspirations. There is no coming back from this loss of credibility and it is hard not to see this realignment (plans for shared data centers with Russia) as treasonous. Witkoff praising Putin as a great humanitarian beggars belief.
Trump and Putin are such ridiculous figures, especially Trump, because Putin is toying with him. He gets involved on all these websites, saying Ukraine could end the war immediately. Of course, Ukraine didn't start the war, Mr. Trump. Zelensky has done more for his country than Donald Trump ever has for the American people. Especially during his second term, prices have skyrocketed, and the only ones who have profited from Trump's presidency are the billionaires. The average American hasn't benefited at all. They've lost a lot of money since he came to power.
An Egomaniacal President who forgets his allies in order to impress his worst enemy will soon find himself without either and the enlightened public will show their disapproval at the polls. This treacherous troll of a President didn't sell out; He just entered into a joint venture with the devil to optimize his political portfolio.
I’ve been following David Corn for a decade or 2 now. I find him to be less reliable now than before. Barack Hussein was obsessed with Iran and their Shia government. Being a Kenyan himself, Barack Hussein sympathized with their minority stance in the Middle East as Shia.

Also, I don’t recall Corn having an issue with Barack Hussein’s unhealthy obsession with Castro’s Cuba. As a Cuban-American I found that abhorrent. Barack Hussein was set on lifting the embargo which did absolutely nothing to ease relations with the US. Even Raul Castro left Barack Hussein waiting in the tarmac and was not there to meet him.

Corn made no mention of these 2 instances.
Donald Trump is a traitor for aiding and abetting our enemy, Russia!!!!! He is giving economic aid and comfort to our enemy Russia by purchasing diesel fuel from the enemy!!!!!!
President Trump has consistently argued that maintaining a working relationship with Moscow is preferable to hostility, viewing geopolitical challenges through the lens of direct leader-to-leader negotiation rather than traditional alliance frameworks. Observers have noted that Putin and Trump have increasingly mirrored or amplified each other's domestic grievances, including shared skepticism over electoral processes like mail-in voting.
