Ukraine has struck two important Russian facilities: A Federal Tax Service data center in the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Azot chemical plant in Perm Krai.
The data center reportedly processes information from government registries, including tax databases, and is part of Russia's geographically distributed tax information system. The strike could potentially disrupt government digital services.
Meanwhile, the Azot plant, a major chemical production complex, manufactures ammonium nitrate, a substance used in the production of explosives.
Join Benjamin Lee in a new episode of Military Mind to find out more.
