It’s going to happen within the next 5 years. A full on Hollywood movie. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not already in production

AI is just going to keep getting better and better, until we don’t need these actors at all anymore. 😂

No further need for actors and actresses.
@stephenboisvert6703
I will just keep vibe coding 14 hours a day and let whatever happens happen, I have simultaneously achieved more than any solo dev before and am entirely unneeded by society

wow. every behind the camera gig anywhere is toast.
@alexandramarshall8960
Oh wow! There is no way this genre of “so called entertainment” can replace the artistry of genuine theatrical productions. All of these AI productions are only adequate entertainment for people who are handicapped with below average intellectual functions. I have deliberately chosen to describe functions in the plural sense because the human brain operates on many different levels ( human emotion, sense of duty, conscience, moral and religious considerations, etal, which cannot be replicated with AI.

Soulless film ,plus the images etc don't come from nowhere
@notjustforhackers4252
Worried? Why? Hollywood is already practically dead, "AI" or not. The last ten years have been horrendous and the last golden age was the 90's. "AI" content sure won't save it.

I don't really have any problems with AI generated movies or music because it is simply another genre, and if it does infringe on copyright of some kind then those royalties obviously need to be paid.
@titteryenot4524
I actively avoid movies that I know are full of AI. I research before I watch. Give me a Nolan movie any day of the week on this score, where he will realistically deploy thousands of flesh and blood human extras rather than take the AI short-cut. Keep it real. Probably why Éric Rohmer is my all-time favourite director!
