It's very obvious if you pay attention. My community doesn't have a rail or bus line and the homeless population which was void is growing exponentially. People really need to research before moving to Atlanta.

Is capitalism a scam so the rich can steal from the poor?

If you live at or below the poverty level the government will judge you as a criminal if you're not spending money on things you don't need. You must comply with this standard or risk losing a thousand or more dollars a month. People living on the bottom are not allowed to save money. Anything over $2000 belongs to the government. If you are old, disabled, or poor and living on the money you paid to the government … (SSI) you have to die stupid and afraid if you don't want to die on the street taking the zombie drug Fentanyl to find your feelings again.

The president of the United States (the highest lawgiver of the land) makes out of his head what he wants to believe in about who and what he is ... the world cannot go on like this… Reality Matters!

Georgia has an official state minimum wage of $5.15 per hour, but it uses the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour for the vast majority of workers and employers.
In 1964 (the year trump graduated high school), a college education was highly affordable. Average tuition, fees, and room and board across all institutions was just $1,283 per year (equivalent to about $13,200 today). For an in-state public university, tuition and fees averaged around $250 annually, while private universities cost about $1,100.
A more detailed breakdown of the 1964–1965 academic year costs highlights:
Public Universities:
Average tuition and fees were roughly $250 to $300 per year.
Private Universities: Average tuition was about $1,100 per year, though prestigious Ivy League schools like Harvard and Brown charged between $1,750 and $1,800.
Room, Board, and Books: Room and board averaged $1,000, with books and personal expenses adding roughly $420 to the annual bill.
Historical Context:
Federal student loans were not yet widely available. However, because costs were so low, many students could cover a large portion of their expenses working summer jobs at the minimum wage of $1.25/hour.

I have lived on the West Coast for many years, but I lived in Georgia for a year in the late 90s. Ever since then, I thought Atlanta was HIGHLY UNDERRATED. It’s a great city and cost-effective.

Looks like Atlanta finally got a lot of attention. It’s still cost-effective to a point, just unfortunate locals feel the rapid inflation.

In the late 90s, I remember a gallon of gas in Georgia was $.69 a gallon. Seeing it literally go up as high as 7X is amazing in a non-cool way.

.

Monthly principal and interest (P&I) payments for a $300,000 house generally range from $1,517 to $1,996 per month for a 30-year fixed loan, depending on your down payment.
Good luck with that at $7.25hr. or even $10-$15$-$20+ for that matter.
I don't know what other people were taught but when I grew up in the 80s 25% of your income or one paycheck should cover your rent or your house payment. So even at $20 an hour say you work 80 hours a week after taxes you are only going to get a little over $600 depending on your specific tax deductions that's not covering rent anywhere or a house payment anywhere for that matter.

Atlanta is the tech hub of the Southeast and landlords are charging rents as if everyone is in tech. There are receptionists, warehouse workers, waitresses, daycare staff, Waffle House workers. Where are people supposed to live?? Someone has to make policy change.

@drcarlsberg3658
@@drcarlsberg3658Imported1wk ago
The problem is simple. The economic scale is tipped so drastically in favor of wealthy and powerful elites that the vast majority of the population is starting to rise up against this inequality. France, Italy, Albania, Spain has started. Can’t stop what’s coming, can’t stop what is already on its way. Our current President is planning an elegant ballroom for himself and those elites. The majority witnesses this inequality and will rebel. That scares them. History has shown us time and time again.

Republicans and Democrats are completely ignorant about the real cost of living in America. Cities continue to raise property taxes without knowning the consquences of their actions. Homelessness and poverty are ripping through our communities while Repubicans and Democrats do absolutely nothing. I urge everyone to forget about political lines. Politics is meant to drive people apart instead of together. I don't care if your Democrate or Republican. We have plenty of common goals. The first is improving our quality of life. Vote for me in the next election.
