7 Singapore listed companies questioned by SGX over possible links to haze

Seven Singapore-listed agricultural companies have been questioned by the Singapore Exchange (SGX) over possible links to the haze, said Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs K Shanmugam while on the sidelines of a visit to Woodlands Checkpoint on Monday (Oct 19).

Singapore authorities will also be examining whether companies linked to the haze are enjoying benefits in Singapore, such as grants and incentives, which are “contingent on lawful and responsible conduct”, he said.
