No, no, NO… Canada DID NOT clash with the USA. The USA elected a president that CHOSE to clash with Canada, for no better reason than to trade on the destruction of value to enrich himself, AT EVERYONE ELSE’S EXPENSE.

Great overview for third-graders - avoiding China shows this is not serious.

Canada and the US were the last countries in the world that prevented Chinese automakers into their markets. Now it's just the US. The US had exclusive access to Canadian oil and gas resources. Now Canada is exporting those resources to other countries. Canada is the world leading exporter of aluminum. The US only produces 21% of domestic aluminum demand and relies primarily on cheap imports from Canada. Now those imports are no longer cheap but the US will never in a million years build a new aluminum smelter because they rely on reliably cheap power which the US doesn't have. Canada bought Swedish Saab Globaleye instead of Boeing E-7 AWACS even when trump threatened to exclude Canada from NORAD. Canada will be buying Gripen insteaf of F35 and I'm sure the weapons list goes much longer. I'd bet globally, trump has lost the US over $500 billion in defense contracts due to crapping all over allies. You tell me who's "winning"

Neighbors. Not friends. I am glad that this is happening. Good lesson for newer Canadians. It's also the mercantilist that call the US our friends.

The CANMUS free trade agreement is still legally binding. The buffoon that said it was the best trade deal ever when he negotiated it and now tore it up. I do have to thank trumpstein tho for nudging Canada to move away from the usa.

Greetings from Canada. It has never been about “winning.” It has always been about standing up to a bully and refusing to give in to extortion.
