Now, the company responsible for air traffic control in Germany has put a new drone detection system into operation at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. The system could help detect drones in the arrival and departure zones at an early stage and alert the relevant authorities to potential threats to air traffic, according to Germany's transport ministry. Additional international airports in Germany are to be equipped with such technology in coming months.
