Oh boy more failed sanctions. 4500! Why not 100,000? Hey, what if the EU stopped buying $8B in NG? That might hurt Russia.

When will the EU figure out that sanction don't work ? Whatever Russia can't get from the EU, they can get them from China.

Details have been released regarding the six-hour talks between Ukrainian and European delegations with US Presidential envoys Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner, which took place on Friday at a golf club near Miami.

The details were revealed by the American newspaper The New York Times.

According to her, at the meeting, the Americans unexpectedly announced the suspension of sanctions against Russian diesel fuel and conveyed a strict demand from White House President Donald Trump to stop attacks on Russian oil refineries.

When one of the Ukrainian negotiators asked what Kyiv would receive in return, the Americans responded that the United States was already doing much for Ukraine and was under no obligation to offer anything in return. In this context, they mentioned American intelligence assistance, which was vital for the Ukrainian army. Some participants in the meeting perceived this as a veiled threat to stop sharing intelligence.

A US administration official denies the existence of such a threat, but acknowledges that Trump is so angry with Ukraine that it is difficult to predict his next actions.

It’s game, set and match. The EU should have pursued negotiations instead of pursuing sanctions, and now it’s too late.

Why are we not talking about the products and services of European companies that continue to operate in Russia? If we are serious about accountability, transparency, and the principles we claim to uphold, this issue deserves far greater scrutiny. It is not enough to condemn certain actions publicly while overlooking the commercial activities that may continue to generate revenue in the Russian market. European companies should be held to the same standards of responsibility, regardless of their size, reputation, or economic influence. Consistency is the true measure of principle, and accountability must apply to everyone—not only where it is politically convenient.

“Not one inch eastward”: NATO’s 1990 pledge made by the U.S. President to Mikhail Gorbachev (documents at George Washington University). Expanding military NATO from 13 to 33 states to Russian doorstep,,,is really cause of The nuclear war,, Stoped please 🙏

The EU is targeting the supply chains behind Russia’s missiles and drones. But Moscow has repeatedly found ways around sanctions. What would make these measures more effective: tougher restrictions, stronger enforcement, or greater international coordination?
