Russia does want peace, but how can one seek peace, with cloak and dagger politics the USA has conducted in from Iran, Cuba, to Venezuela as a quick example. The European Union refuses to seek peace, reduce, limit, or blockade any military aid, an, or supplies to Ukraine that are used to attack Russia, an it's people. Yes, we all know Russia invaded Ukraine, but why did they do such an act? Was it because Vladimir Putin told NATO, Ukraine won't be a member an I will invade them. What did NATO do? Did they back off? No. They kept pursuing a goal, that was unsettling to another member of the international community, an instead of direct, transparent, diplomatic discussions and creating space with Russia on this issue. NATO kept pursuing their own political agendas in Ukraine, playing blind, deaf, and dumb, to Russia's objection. So who's a fault? Russia, or NATO? In lame man's terms if this were a hostage situation and the captor ('Russia') said stop talking or I will unalived a hostage (Ukraine) and the negotiators (USA) keeps talking and the hostage dies, who's REALLY at fault. When all you had to was stop talking, or in this case DENY UKRAINE'S MEMBERSHIP TO NATO.
