October 7th didn't have to happen. Apparently Netanyahu had been warned in advance that an attack by Hamas was coming. He could have deployed troops to the area in anticipation, he didn't. It happened and It took 6 hours for a structured IDF response, unconceivable. It is hard not to believe that Netanyahu let this happen in order to justify an offensive that would eventually move Palestinians permanently out of the land between the river and the sea. Everything that has happened and is happening since Oct. 7th in Gaza, the West Bank and Southern Lebanon is a reflection of this.

If population & loss of life in Israel is projected to US population of 330 million, the projected figure comes to 47,600 killed (15 times of 9/11). If Hamas is let off this time, a new incarnation of Hamas with much more lethal weapons will rise in future making the present barbaric & hostage taking attack look a pedestrian affair.
