Anyone who thinks China is their friend is an idiot or a traitor to their nation.
Taiwan has been an independent nation since 1949 and should remain independent from China. What China is doing now has been going on for decades and will continue until they are put in their place, either by economic sanctions or a war. All I can suggest is to quit buying Chinese products if you truly want to support Taiwan.
