What… Comments are actually enabled!? It’s precisely clear which position the CBC has taken in the pipeline to B.C…. So much for Team Canada and unbiased journalism.

The demand is there. Iran war has also changed the world. We need to study the Northern-Shield pipeline proposed between Alberta and Ontario and possibly to the Atlantic provinces…it’s a matter of national security.

As a non liberal, I give kudos to how the questions were answered. Nice to see the CBC host ask the liberal govt some tough questions. Now don’t stop!

Except, Alberta has a 260 BILLION dollar liability that is the Tarsands tailings ponds being held back by towering 800 to 900ft tall earthen berms
For every barrel of oil produced, one and a half barrels of toxic sludge is produced. Their only solution is to add it to the 1.9 TRILLION litres already there.
Tic tock, not if, when. The ecological disaster will dwarf Exxon Valdez and Mount Polley together.

Oil demand has already peaked. China's oil demand peaked last year. Countries that have the option to invest in renewables vs importing expensive hydrocarbons are already switching to renewables. This pipeline is not a good use of taxpayer money.

Great to have Comments opened up! This is one of only three programs that I watch on TV or platforms regularly! Enjoy when you are hosting, not so much with a couple of the others! 😊
