That's really the stuff of nightmares. A pilot being stabbed by the FO, a plane dropping 4K, a plumber leveling the plane only knowing how to move the stick from watching Mayday, a plane flying for a while completely out of any specifications almost reaching the sound barrier. Not to take away from the passengers who took action, but some don't seem to understand what an absolute act of individual heroism it was by Captain Machchhar to get that cockpit door opened while fighting his co-pilot AFTER already having been stabbed. Without that door being opened from inside the cockpit, that flight was over at minute one.
