Communities of Groblershoop and surrounding towns in the Northern Cape are crying out for reliable and responsive ambulance and emergency services.
Some residents say they have lost loved ones due to ambulances not responding or arriving hours after several calls had been made.
This is despite a major drive by the Northern Cape government last year to beef up emergency services in the province, when twenty-seven ambulances were bought to improve capacity and ensure quick responses during emergencies.
SABC News Reporter, Keith Sayster reports from the Northern Cape.
