God what a tragedy! I just returned from a trip to Athens two days ago, feel like I was on that street just yesterday... It is truly awful, my condolences to Athenian citizens and the relatives of the victims.
At least they won't be asked to help make things worse anymore. Hopefully something will take me out soon so I don't have to help poison the rivers and buy the bombs
Friday's blast occurred in Plaka, a district popular with tourists and home to many hotels and short-term rentals. It's near some of Athens' most visited sites including the Acropolis and the Temple of Zeus.
