Is it acceptable to bring an iced coffee to an interview? #BBCNews

Seems like you're not taking the interviewer seriously... and it's unlikely that you'd be yawning right in front of the interviewer 😂😂😂 If you're dehydrated or tired minutes before a life changing interview (especially in this economy), that's a you problem and tells people that you didn't prepare a night before and treating the potential job as a potential hobby.
It's a no because a cold hand sends negative signals. ...at least carry it in your left . ... And let's not get the biggest one and be 3 min late . Certainly depends on the job your applying for .
Why not bring a roast to share with the interviewer? 🤣 It’s unprofessional to have it with you during the interview. Leave it outside if you have to bring one. I haven’t gone to an interview in ages, so I don’t have to worry about this. 😂
Recruiter here! If you are the best candidate, I don’t care what kind of food or drink you bring. If you’re not the best of the best, it might be better to finish your drink before the interview.
Aren’t you supposed to go into interviews these days not looking desperate? Since so many companies are certifiable insane asylums? Iced coffee is a test. If they don’t hire you because of an iced coffee, you just dodged a bullet. If you are interviewing someone with an iced coffee, they aren’t desperate and probably have desired skills. Even better if you eat a sandwich and in between bites ask “Tell me, why should I want to work for you?’
This is hefferdust. I'm very much of the calibre be as you would perform on the job. You might be interviewing with stock and order logistics, you don't know
Went for a job interview, the boss and hr who did the interview both brought down mugs of coffee, not sure why a candidate can’t bring a drink as well.
Back in the day (showing my age), when u went to an interview, u were offered water or coffee. So I don’t see the problem in bringing your own beverage. I bring my water bottle everywhere I go. (Also not sure why “iced coffee” is being singled out lol)

Also as a hiring manager, it was more uncomfortable watching someone go into a coughing spell because their mouth gets dry from all the talking, I never had a problem with someone bringing their beverages in.
When I went on job interviews, I was concerned about being punctual and creating the right impression with my dress and grooming. It would be the last thing on my mind to show up with a drink in hand. I would treat myself after the interview.
who cares it's just an iced coffee, it's not like they're showing up with an entire meal or something

the twist and turns that candidates have to do in their thinking to justify not doing this or that just not to anger a recruiter makes literally no sense whatsoever
No. Do not take a drink of any kind.
If beverages are offered at the interview, take one ONLY if they already have one.
If they're not offered .. they do not want drinks in the interview.
It's not hard :/
I believe, nowadays people have made it an aim to neccessarily do things that might 'unintentionally' be an ick to elders (in general ) and seniors (at work place )e.t.c.
It is not an obligation to start doing literally everything that shows you are toooo comfortable, just to show that you are a confident person.

In short, if HR occasionally encounter people who have iced coffee then it's better to take it easy. However, us (the younger generation) also need to be moderate with this idea of 'myself first'. I mean, showing that I am not punctual enough to finish drinking my coffee beforehand would definitely affect our interview.
I wouldn’t bring any drink because I would be afraid I would spill it! But really how is it any different than a bottle of water which I presume would be fine. Any company with that hiring philosophy is not a company I would want to join.
