Zelenskyy ready to meet Putin and offers energy ceasefire | Ukraine Brief

Russian strikes across Ukraine over the past 24 hours have killed at least 15 people and wounded more than 90, including in Kyiv, where attacks hit a business center, a market, and a gas station.

In Zaporizhzhia, a major shopping center was set ablaze overnight, while the frontline city of Kramatorsk once again came under bombardment, with a church being destroyed.

Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held high-level meetings on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, including with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. Ukraine is “ready for energy ceasefire,” Zelenskyy said after meeting Trump at UN.

Separately, the EU agreed to remove Russian oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman from its sanctions lists, a decision criticized by Kyiv.
