SANDF welcomes 2 500 new recruits

The Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Angie Motshekga welcomed more than two-thosand five-hundred new soldiers, who have completed their basic military training at 3 SAI in the Northern Cape.

They are joining a SANDF under increasing pressure to assist police in crime hotspots including the Western Cape, where gang violence remains a major challenge, despite the deployment of soldiers in the area.
