An FTA saying 94% of tariffs are eliminated doesn&#39;t mean Philippine companies suddenly gain 94% more exports.<br><br>Companies still need:<br><br>competitive manufacturing costs<br>reliable electricity<br>ports and logistics<br>customs efficiency<br>sufficient production capacity<br>European-quality standards<br>rules-of-origin compliance<br>supply-chain reliability<br>political/regulatory stability<br><br>And European companies face the same issue in reverse.

Great. A free trade deal is always good. Hopefully the entire ASEAN and EU will have a 100% free tariff deal that will mobilize a lot of products from both regions and will have a positive impact on our economy.
