Ekurhuleni Murders | Three persons of interest questioned

Police have confirmed that they have called in three people of interest for questioning in connection with the Ekhuruleni female murders.

They say more Kempton Park slain female victims have also been identified.

The Inter Ministerial Committe on Gender Based Violence and Femicide briefed the media in Pretoria on government actions to the recent discovery of bodies of murdered women in Ekurhuleni, and other incidents of in GBVF in the country.

Acting Police Minister, Prof Firoz Cachalia says Ekurhuleni is now officially under lockdown with intensified law enforcement operations on the ground.

Meanwhile the IMC also lambasted the man seen threatening women in a video that went viral on social media, and confirmed that he is wanted by police or must present himself to the nearest police station.
