Canada is merely defending its economy, its democracy and its sovereignty as it has done for itself and for other democracies in the past. That Trump accuses "hostility" is a reflection of his own intentions not those of Canada.

Many ordinary Canadians see this situation as dire with the USA, but also Carney&#39;s actions are disproportionately small and ineffective compared to the challenges we face. Carney is a banker and may not be up to the task of the challenges we are facing as a nation.
