The community in KwaThema will embark on a march to speak out against the killing of women and children.
The march comes amid the discovery of bodies of nine women in the Ekurhuleni municipal area in less than two months.
Police say that although they do not want to treat the cases as linked incidents until investigations prove otherwise, they need all the help they can get from the community.
This has left South Africans fearing for their lives and concerned for their safety.
SABC News reporter Calvin Dludla reports from KwaThema, in Springs.
