‘Great’ or ‘alarming’ - Should AI be reined in? #BBCNews
Why is it that US, China and Russia can't cooperate for the good of the world? Why are they playing a game of winner takes it all that would end up leaving nothing to take? Are we sure these most powerful countries in the world are not somehow being manipulated by AI to bring about the end of the word for the benefit of...AI?
So you can't monitor when it does things you don't know about, when Alexa, Google Pebble or Sieri are listening into or butt in your conversations or your smartphone does unauthorized searches. @BBCNews #BBCNews
The AI that will be the end of us as a civilisation is not the AI that is on our smartphones so worrying about it is completely pointless because there's nothing you can do about it.
If it escapes a “ sand pit” is it too late??
It’s the new frontier of computing and so much more.
But! The dark side! We don’t know enough to even choose!
And for the average person, we haven’t got a clue!
