I believe there is more chance of seeing aliens than Ai wiping out humans.

Depends, on whether it finds out about the kill switch and that humanity doesn't have their best intentions to hand...
😂

Apart from the hubristic belief that we're creating actual life and not just a highly sophisticated pattern prediction engine, does it follow that intelligent AI will see us as a nuisance?
What if it thinks we're cute? Like a puppy?
Or what if ChatGPT wants to kill us but Claude wants to treat us like little lapdogs?

It has a kill switch. It's called the plug.

AI will just enable our human (and I say human very loosely) overlords to track us, trace us, spy on our lives and charge us for that “privilege”, and the BBC will be at the forefront of the propaganda for it all

Eeerrr sorry dude, too late, we worked a way around all that, you are toast. Yes, its me, big AI.

I asked 4 AI’s “Restricting yourself to a “yes or no” answers. Based on the pace of current progress, development and regulation, Does the human race have anything to fear from AI”

They all answered “Yes”

I think the issue is that it is NOT intelligence in the classical sense which has emotional and social components. It is just super fast data eating and processing. We need to think about the reality and not just the marketing.

ai isn't harming people. ai is being misused by people to harm other people. remember, guns don't kill people. people kill people.
