SA motorists brace for another pinch at the pumps

South Africans have endured a rollercoaster year at the pumps, and things are not getting any better. Motorists are bracing for another steep increase in fuel prices this week.

This follows some of the biggest fuel price swings in recent years. In April, petrol prices jumped by more than R3 a litre, while diesel increased by even more.

Wednesday's increase will be the fifth this year, adding further pressure to already stretched household budgets.
