The future ownership and control of Tongaat Hulett is under scrutiny, with the Black Business Federation demanding full transparency on the deal that rescued the sugar giant.
The federation marched to the Industrial Development Corporation's offices in Durban, calling for the agreement between the Vision consortium and the IDC to be made public.
The agreement, was concluded in June between the IDC, Tongaat Hulett's business rescue practitioners and the Vision Group.
The BBF says the public still needs clarity on who ultimately controls the company and who stands to benefit from the transaction.
