France is bracing for a third weekend of protests, with demonstrations against the rising cost of living planned across the country. Nearly half a million people are expected to take to the streets, prompting the government to deploy 70,000 police officers to maintain order. In Paris, a last-minute court ruling has restricted today’s march to the eastern outskirts of the capital. Jack Pownall reports.
