Precious Stones Case | Kersha Leigh Stols to apply for bail on 16 July

Kersha Leigh Stols, the third suspect in the R14-million precious stones theft case, is set to apply for bail alongside the two co-accused next Thursday.

Stols, a former EMPD officer, will appear with fellow EMPD officer, Adrian MacKenzie, and private security boss, Ettiene Van Der Walt.

She surrendered to police yesterday.

The arrests follow testimony from Witness K, a former JMPD officer and ex-girlfriend of suspended EMPD Deputy Chief, Julius Mkhwanazi, who told the Madlanga Commission that she and Mkhwanazi conspired in the theft.
