Refugees and asylum seekers camp on Che Guevara Road in Durban

Refugees and asylum seekers have been camping on the pavements outside the Department of Home Affairs Refugee Office on Che Guevara Road in Durban, in KwaZulu-Natal.

The foreign nationals say they fled their communities in the city, following anti-undocumented immigration protests and are now calling on authorities to provide them with shelter and protection.
