Voter Registration | Youth in Roodeport concerned about unemployment

The National Voter Registration Weekend for the upcoming 2026 Local Government Elections is happening today and tomorrow, 20 and 21 June 2026.

All 23,706 registration stations across South Africa are open from 08h00 to 17h00 on both Saturday and Sunday to assist citizens with new registrations, status checks, and address updates.

We continue our special focus on voter registration and now head to Roodepoort, in the west of Johannesburg, where SABC News reporter Luyanda Danca has the latest developments.
