The National Prosecuting Authority has confirmed that its unit, IDAC had issued arrest warrants against Crime intelligence Head, General Dumisani Khumalo and Intelligence Analysis Head Major-General Nosipho Madondo. The pair went to Brooklyn Police Station yesterday where they had been informed to hand themselves over, but were then released. NPA spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago says the execution of the warrants was suspended after noting that the pair had been deployed in a security cluster tasked with national security for the 30th of June, related to immigration protests that have been planned on that day.
