Pre-trial hearing underway for Thabo Bester and co-accused at Free State High Court

Convicted murderer and rapist, Thabo Bester along with his co-accused are appearing in the Free State High Court for a pre-trial hearing.

The court appearance focuses on evaluating trial readiness and addressing several parallel legal battles that continue to stall the main criminal trial surrounding Bester’s audacious May 2022 escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre.
