Government plans to roll out Lenacapvir to over three million South Africans in the next three years.

The long-acting HIV prevention injection, administered twice a year, is expected to play a significant role in reducing new infections.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has committed government to ensuring that access to the injection is expanded to all who need it.
