The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, EACC, has arrested Nairobi County Chief Officer-in-Charge of Urban Development and Planning with over 65 million in cash, suspected to be proceeds of crime. EACC boss Abdi Mohamud says the money is believed to be proceeds of bribes paid by individuals seeking approval for buildings constructions in Nairobi County. The cash was recovered at Patrick Analo Akivaga’s house in Syokimau, Machakos County.
