The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) says ten African countries are at risk from the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The agency says the scale of the outbreak is the biggest Africa has seen since the Ebola outbreak of 2014-2015 when over 11,000 lives were lost.
The news comes as Uganda has confirmed three new Ebola infections, bringing the country's total caseload to five.
SABC News Correspondent Michael Baleke reports from the Ugandan capital, Kampala.
