Western Cape Floods | Some cummunities still without electricity and water

Electricity and water supply has not been restored to all communities impacted by the recent storms that hit the Western Cape. Delays in road repairs is impacting on travelling between towns and schooling.

This as mopping up operations and relief work continues in many communities whose houses were destroyed or flooded by level 8 storms that made landfall in the Western Cape in quick succession.

Minister of Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning in the Western Cape, Anton Bredell, and joins to unpack these challenges.
