Update on verification process of foreign nationals in Durban

Several foreign nationals spent the night sleeping on the pavement outside the Department of Home Affairs Refugee Reception Centre in Durban CBD.
They say they have been verified and have nowhere else to go, because they fear being attacked if they return to their communities.

Meanwhile KwaZulu-Natal Home Affairs has confirmed that 457 foreign nationals have been verified - with 2 undocumented.
