Germany has a very capable mine sweeper that could really help clear the Straight of Harmoz of mines, mine sweepers are a definate precise ship that could open the Straight with escorts of mine sweepers and destroyers to lead a long line of commercial shipping safely through the Straight that oil tankers will be safe in passage.
