I'm 75 years old, so I've lived through a few administrations, Democrats and Republicans. However, not once did I ever hold any of our Presidents in such blind obedience/loyalty or affection as Trump's followers. I always kept each President open to criticism and/or correction, no matter how popular they were. This isn't the way this 31% of Trump supporters feel. They literally believe everything Trump tells them without question! Their blind loyalty should raise a little alarm bell in their minds, but it doesn't! As the world accuses Trump of all sorts of illegalities, they double down on their support for him. Now, 31% of the populace could not be brainwashed, could it? That many people wouldn't follow Trump to his grave by taking poison or drinking Kool-Aid, could they? The religious Right still can't see how Trump has done nothing but used them and their support and yet, there they are. Trump is by far, the least intelligent President we've probably ever had but his life long ability to use and manipulate is a learned, well-honed skill that few can duplicate.
