Syrians protest in Damascus against Israel’s expanding military presence in the south

Syrians have gathered in front of the UN headquarters in Damascus to protest what they say is an expanding Israeli occupation in the south of the country.

Among them are family members of people detained by Israeli forces during what the protesters describe as regular incursions into southern Syria. They are asking for the release of those held, whose fate is still unknown.
