Thabo Mbeki appears before the Khampepe Commission

Former President Thabo Mbeki is expected to appear before the Khampepe Commission of Inquiry on Monday and Tuesday.

This follows the Constitutional Court's dismissal of his and former President Jacob Zuma's bid to have Inquiry Chairperson Justice Sisi Khampepe recuse herself.

The inquiry is investigating whether or not, there were efforts made to stop the prosecution of TRC cases.
