The threat posed by Russia, security cooperation, and defense spending are dominating this year’s Warsaw Security Forum. One of the leaders in defense spending is Poland. In an interview with TVP World, Andrzej Domański, Poland’s Finance Minister, stressed that security and military modernization remain the government’s top priorities.
According to Domański, Poland is not only strengthening its own security but also contributing to the defense of NATO’s eastern flank and Europe as a whole.
Domański also made it clear that Poland will not back down from pushing for the use of frozen Russian assets. In his view, additional economic pressure on Russia remains essential. Poland is emerging as an important player in these discussions, particularly given its growing role within the G20.
The minister also commented on U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks regarding Russian diesel exports to global markets.
“We cannot buy Russian oil, Russian gas, or Russian diesel,” Domański emphasized in his interview with Adam Jasser.
