Is Rayan Cherki the BEST PLAYER in the Premier League? 😳 | ESPN FC Extra Time

Note where Cherki was before he appeared in the box to receive the Anderson pass which he dummied before running into Gvardiol's pass? He was on the wing when Doku was holding up the ball eyeing a pass to Anderson. Cherki was nowhere near the scene of play and cruises past several defenders to station himself near Anderson. He anticipated the possibilities in a flash and got into position. This must be the third or fourth game in which Gvardiol was not in his usual position but on the front line giving an assist. Cherki is special. Don't need commentators to tell us.

What is annoying me is Liverpool had a chance to sign him 2 years ago for just 30 million and we end up paying 120 million for Wirtz who is clearly not good enough for the Premier League. You don’t pay 120 million for a player who only plays well in the champions league when he gets more space and time against less athletic teams. Wirtz is just overhyped and needs space and lower quality defenders to perform. He isn’t even worth half of what we paid. He a 30 million player with the great PR.
