When it comes to war, UN is pretty much powerless. UN may be good for a lot of things, but it can't do anything when it comes to wars. How does it keep everyone inside their own border? We literally need a skynet that can register all people, anyone that's in the military or any spy network visiting another country get lasered from above. if that ain't happening, then there is nothing we can do about wars. It's not like EU doesn't want to hold US and Israel accountable, but how can it? European gotta put their own interest above their moral ground, how are they going to sanction US and ruin their own lives?

There can be a lot of arguments and debates about right and wrong, but there is just nothing we can do.
Trump's American military is so mismanaged that all that can be done vs Houthis is flailing around like an ape, much the way Trump does everything else.
What does the USA do? The more you strike the more you create them against you,why the hubric empire never learned from history that empire can't be sustained by military pride?. Yes , the military can make the current empire sleep well tonight but it can't guarantee a wake in the morning.
Saudi-backed Yemeni forces bombed the runway at [Sanaa International Airport] to block an Iranian Mahan Air passenger flight carrying an Ansarullah (Houthi) delegation from landing. The runway bombing that forced the Iranian Mahan Air flight to divert took place on Monday, July 13, 2026.... Good return gift !!!
Alright, I watched the whole thing. Here's my take.

The Houthis hit Riyadh airport. Gate 401. Ambulances. Flights diverted. Operations suspended. And Saudi Arabia — with its $80 billion defense budget and its shiny American jets — can't stop it. They vowed to respond "decisively." That's the same thing they said ten years ago. And the Houthis are still there. Still firing missiles. Still hitting airports.

Then Trump gets asked if he'll join the Saudi strikes. His answer: "We may. We're going to look at it. We move very quickly." Buddy, you're the president. "We may" is not a policy. It's a weather forecast. And you've been "looking at it" since the war started. Meanwhile, the Houthis are hitting the front door of the kingdom and you're doing a press availability.

Turkey and Pakistan have a defense alliance with Saudi Arabia. They pledged support. But Turkey immediately ruled out offensive operations. "It's a defense agreement." Translation: we'll protect you if you're attacked, but we won't help you attack anybody. That's not an alliance. That's a liability waiver.

And in Yemen, the Saudi-backed government forces are trying to push the Houthis out of Taiz. The Houthis released videos of them pushing back. It's a grinding stalemate. Nobody's winning. Everybody's dying.

Here's the bottom line. The Houthis are a militia from the mountains. They've been bombed by the Saudis, the Emiratis, the Americans, and the British. And they're still standing. Not only standing — they're hitting airports in the capital. That's not a "dangerous escalation." That's a humiliation. And the only thing more humiliating is watching the most powerful military in history say "we may look at it."

Check the stove. Keep the loop open. And if somebody tells you the Houthis are contained, ask them which airport is next.

Ed's out. 🌹
It is not wise to be enemies of Houthis because they are at the other end of Suez canal where many ships need to pass through for trade. Houthis control Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. If there is no talk of peace, ship traveling through Bab-el-Mandeb Strait will stop and trade route through Suez canal a shorter route may no longer be used. Peace and peace talks now.
After attacking Iran, recently Trump said about attacking Houthis, enough is enough, no war president. They cling on to power and want to be presidents forever so they use war to prolong their terms. As a result , people are dying and suffering because of their action. We need to vote all these war presidents out.
The assault on Riyadh's airport drew condemnation from the United Nations and world leaders including US President Donald Trump, who said he was considering joining Saudi strikes against the Houthis.
