Then you people when you compare wages you always forget to look at "WHAT IS LEFT AFTER BASIC LIVING COSTS". So even if I earn 100 times more so 4500, it does not help if my cheapest EV is 20k, after tax I have 3000, then the rent/internet/"and so on" is 2000 and food/clothing 800. I still have only 200 for taking myself from home to work and the cheapest way costs 145 so I am left with 55 per month and if I go for a coffee with a friend I am left with 45. I want a ice cream on a hot day and I have 40...

I did not use real numbers but my point is that the wage has nothing to do with it if you can afford something if the capitalistic society around you is built to drain 105% of what you earn. Like I will no longer be surprised when you have to pay a oxygen fee and get a 500 dollar fine if you dare to breathe without paying the fee...

The push for electric vehicles outran the infrastructure it was supposed to support. Where are the charging stations at the train stations? Your place of work? The supermarkets? Your apartmentt complex? Municipal parking lots? Surface streets? Driving around town searching for a charging station on your GPS drains the battery as well. And if you find one, hopefully its actually working. Oh, and then theres the instantaneous combustion of the battery issue. Stick to petrol.

This government is obsessed with buzzword policies instead of building actual infrastructure
@FrancisSejamitlwa
They began buying petrol cars when it was hard to find petrol stations

Nigeria is too poor for the EV car industry. They can't even fix the roads. Improve the electricity first and other basic infrastructure before going on EVs. Nigeria is like a street vendor doing hustle and bustle to save and be able to buy a car LOL. The priorities of this Nigerians is not to improve the standard of living of its people.

Would you switch to an EV if reliable charging were available where you live? If you drive one in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa, tell us how you charge it and what it costs you. 👇
@Ugochukwu_Victor
Lol. Nigeria is such an unserious country.

再进口一些中国太阳能板和储能电池就行了,放心,中国不是美国,我们不会对太阳光收费的

if you can afford a car, you can afford a few 100 dollar solar panels

The EV myth. China sells cheap evs but your country now needs huge power plants for electricity. That means higher taxes and other fuel to make power. Coal, Nuclear or gas. Evs were dead in the water 💦 since the 1800 when they First came into the market 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@InnovationSolutions9208
60% by 2050 that is not very ambitious. EV are so cheap that economics alone will push it far beyond that by 2030.

People who cannot provide affordable fuel for citizens are going to provide affordable charging stations for EVs and one would believe them. Corrupt people!
