The idea that if Hamas surrenders Israel will withdraw from Gaza is laughable. The official policy of Israel for Gaza is ethnic cleansing and colonization. If Hamas disarms then Israel will occupy the whole strip, keep killing everyone they want, keep preventing any reconstruction and bombing and bulldozing and do everything it can to make the gazans finally vanish in thin air.
