What a barbaric country.

She requested a firing squad but was refused. Lethal injection is not humane.

I'm not advocating for this woman by any means, but how is this not cruel and unusual punishment? Isn't that what capital punishment is supposed to prevent?
@joanrichards8252
God told me to pray for Christa and I did God is the one that gives life and God is the one that has Christa life in His hand God is in control. I pray that God will use her as a testimony of his love grace and mercy. Mercy win in this situation to God be the glory. Human beings can never understand the true meaning of the power of forgiveness. Those who killed Jesus Christ on the cross were forgiven. Amen

Why are they using a Dr. to insert needles into veins? That's a specialized job Dr. rarely do. A phlebotomist should be doing.

Sometimes it could be God who saved her, or it could be that her body is very resilient, or she will stay in the hospital forever.

This was them sending a message to all women, "let them beat you to death or we will kill you instead..."

Can we just go back to firing squads? It would somehow be less messy than this, amazing how badly you can botch something you had THIRTY YEARS to prepare for

America = The worst country in the world
@WeKnowTheyWontWin
Why don’t they use a large dose of fentanyl? They could have gotten it from Junior Cokehead or Elmo. (I’m sure they have sources.-I wonder if Kalshi or Polymarket made a bundle on this bungle?)
@scarsstitches636
Who's the barbarian who told her to "relax"? 🤦🏻‍♂️

1793: A capital criminal was guillotined. Death was swift, reliable, and humane.
2026: This mess...
@FrankieLancaster
Just give these people a hit of car fentanyl guarantee they'll be out pretty quick and I believe and hey they'll get a nice buzz too.
@EnlightenedOne24U
If someone can survive TWO lethal injections then God has clearly spoken. This person is not meant to die. Period. Let it go. This is absolutely abhorrent. Two wrongs will never make it right. Life in prison is always an option and one that costs the taxpayers less, not more. Period.

Watch they got the drugs 30 years ago when sentenced
@MinnesotaFlipsRed
Save our tax money, and just utilize the firing squad. 165 grain cup'n'core bullet fired from a .308 Winchester through someone's heart will kill them VERY QUICKLY... And for much cheaper then the lethal injection.

Multiple medical professionals warned them that lethal injection would not be effective due to her thrombocytosis.

They should've actually listened and switched her execution method from lethal injection to the electric chair.
@Selfcustomfirearms
I mean we should realistically use the firing squad. Yes it looks very violent but in reality it’s much more humane than a bunch of chemicals that stop you from expressing pain while causing some of the worst pain imaginable.
