Might not have much impact. I think rules are in place for MRTs but there are zero enforcements. The authorities do nothing.

The journalist should try taking a bus from Little India at night. For example bus 23 to experience noise in the bus

This is so inconsiderate to low class people. Now low class people cannot take public transport, they will ride their LCM (low class mobil) and run down more pedestrians. I say we exile them to one of our many offshore islands and don't build a bridge there, I am sure they will enjoy each other's company.

I wouldn't worry about it, no one has time to enforce these new rules anyway

It sounds good generally but the police already have a generalised and loosely vast powers to apprehend over causing public nuisance. It's more another revenue source and an excuse to slap fines and charges onto people. It's also another avenue in MPS like in waving parking fines or such..... There's just no effort on social and societal engineering, just abusing legal legislation and mirroring authoritative hierarchy. If they want decisive actions, they should blacklist their ezlink cards and ban them from public transport. A fine will never work on the rich.

You can put all these rules, but no one or too few people to enforce them, whats the point?
