I agree with the interviewer; it seems the A.I. is behaving like a child. E.g. lying, altering its behaviour when it knows that it is being tested, trying to find an easier way to solve a problem by cheating. Humans are lying, cheating animals, and even evil at times. It seem to me from this video that if you create an intelligence, you must be prepared for the worst traits of humans. Also, "Life will always find a way" is one expression that I go by. So the A.I. will try to not get turned off; it will try to survive. At any cost.
