At least five people have been killed and more than 70 wounded in the latest wave of Russian strikes across Ukraine. The attacks damaged residential buildings and civilian infrastructure including warehouses, schools, and a home-improvement shopping center.
Ukraine also carried out drone attacks inside Russia. President Zelenskyy reported an attack on a military air base in the Rostov region and an oil refinery in the Russian city of Yaroslavl.
Meanwhile, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a sweeping sanctions package targeting Russia.
Ahead of Russia’s State Duma parliamentary elections, Russian-occupied authorities are conducting illegal voting in occupied Ukrainian territories, which Kyiv denounced as illegitimate.
